Software Developer with C# Dot Net, SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS
Our Client is a bank based in Central London who is looking to recruit a Software Developer with at least 7 years of experience as a Data Engineer, proficient in C# Dot Net and SQL Server with SSIS.
You must have solid expertise of at least 7 years in developing software with C# Dot Net, MS SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS, with a strong emphasis on SSIS for this position.
Must be an excellent problem solver and adept at writing documentation for all projects.
Experience with banking systems, particularly Core Banking, is ideal.
Responsibilities include:
- Development and delivery of new systems to automate and streamline processes required by different departments.
- Support the internal IT department with changes and upgrades to software platforms.
- Act as the primary contact for all technical questions relating to in-house bespoke systems and interfacing.
- Analyze issues pertaining to problems or errors raised by in-house systems, including CORE, SharePoint interface, Equation, Kondor, Eximbills, and end-of-day cycles.
Support:
- Support budgeting and financial planning processes for the Finance department, including loading and refreshing data based on requirements.
- Conduct front-end functionality to amend and change hierarchical structures within the environment.
- Build data flows within the SQL environment in SSIS and SSAS packages.
- Integrate the SharePoint environment and Forms with the Equation system to automate processes and eliminate the need for duplicate entry.
- Utilize web services to integrate cutting-edge technology into legacy systems such as Equation.
- Integrate with all systems using data abstraction and connectivity layers, such as ODBC and ADO.net.
Duties:
- Maintain knowledge of all applicable regulatory requirements, including the Bank’s Risk and Compliance policies, and adhere to these to minimize risk.
- Report policy/procedure breaches and areas of potential non-compliance promptly, in accordance with the Bank's Risk and Compliance policies.
- Accurately execute all controls within your area to minimize the risk of policy, procedure, and/or regulatory breaches.
- Identify new risks/control gaps within your area and escalate accordingly to your Line Manager.
Must have a degree qualification.
This is a 12-month FTC position with a salary of circa £60K - £70K.
This is a hybrid position - you will be required to be in the office at least 3 days a week.
