Cranswick Fresh Poultry is hiring at our state-of-the-art processing site with great facilities in Eye, Suffolk. We have an opportunity for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join the finance team.

• Purchase ledger and associated work two days a week and reporting/adherence of and to.
• Close off the purchase ledger, balance intercompany accounts and statement reconciliations each financial period along with any other monthly tasks required.
• Monthly Environmental reporting.
• Assist in the production of weekly management accounts.
• Ensure Brexit paperwork and procedures adhered to.
• Attendance at Quarterly stocktakes as and when required.
• Promote a culture of rigorous financial control and assist with improvements to processes and procedures.
• Assist in production of annual budget.
• Provide data insight and analysis.

• Studying for CIMA or ACCA.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Good communicator.
• Motivated and able to prioritise demanding workloads.
• Capable of working on confidential and sensitive issues with discretion.
• AAT part-qualified, ledger accounting experience.

• Worked in manufacturing environment.
• Experience of ERP system.

• £25,000 - £35,000 per year depending on experience.
