Job summary
A well-established accountancy firm in Copsale is seeking a Payroll Administrator to manage all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring compliance with legislation and handling bookkeeping tasks during quieter periods. The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll management and excellent communication skills. Immediate interviews are available for interested applicants.

- Manage all aspects of clients' payroll.
- Handle end-to-end payroll processing.
- Ensure compliance with legislation and HMRC.
Skills
Portfolio Payroll are partnered with a well-established accountancy who are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join them on a permanent basis.
This is a sole role. The focus will be on taking ownership for the while payroll function however, in more quiet periods of the month you will be assisting with bookkeeping and other ad hoc tasks
- Take full responsibility for managing all aspects of clients payroll
- Handle end-to-end payroll processing, including starters, leavers, statutory payments (SSP, SMP, etc.), holiday pay, and pension contributions
- Ensure full compliance with HMRC
- Administer auto enrolment duties and lease with pension providers
- Keep up to date with legislation and any changes
- Perform bookkeeping duties including data entry & bank reconciliation
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Communicate with clients via email and phone where required
