A recruitment specialist is seeking a Computer Aided Design (CAD) Tutor in York. The successful candidate will deliver engaging CAD lessons focused on engineering concepts and hold a Level 3 qualification in CAD or Engineering Design. A Level 5 teaching qualification is also required or candidates must be willing to obtain one. A salary of £30,000 - £35,000 is offered, based on qualifications and experience.

- Must be proficient in CAD software and engineering design.

Type: Full Time, Permanent
- Must hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in CAD or Engineering Design (or equivalent).
- Hold - or be willing to work towards - a Level 5 teaching qualification (DTLLS/DET or equivalent/above)
- Must be proficient in CAD software and engineering design.
- Experience of delivering CAD instruction.
- Deliver high-quality and engaging lessons in Computer Aided Design (CAD), focussing on engineering concepts to learners undertaking Level 2 and 3 qualifications.
- Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners'skills knowledge and behaviours
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
- Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
- Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
- Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
- Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
- Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
