Remote Island Power Station Lead Engineer
Job summary
A global technology provider is seeking a Senior Engineer (Plant Manager) to manage day-to-day operations of their power station. This unique opportunity involves overseeing the efficient operation of diesel generators and wind turbines, ensuring compliance with UK laws while optimizing sustainability. Ideal candidates will have experience in power station management and strong mentoring abilities to develop staff. This role is based remotely in the Ascension Islands and calls for an individual with a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience in operating power station assets including generators and turbines.
- Knowledge of UK legislation for electricity and water supply.
- Strong mentoring and coaching skills.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of Power Station Assets.
- Oversee continuous improvement programmes.
- Manage electricity and water supply compliance.
