We are looking for an experienced Mental Health Social Worker to join Stockport's dedicated Adult Mental Health Team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional who is passionate about supporting adults with complex mental health needs, promoting recovery, and enhancing wellbeing.

• Undertake Care Act assessments, support planning, and reviews.
• Complete Mental Capacity Assessments and contribute to Best Interest decisions.
• Manage safeguarding concerns in line with local policies and procedures.
• Support individuals in hospital discharge and community-based recovery.
• Work collaboratively with mental health professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely case recordings in line with professional standards.

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
• Substantial experience in adult mental health social work.
• Strong knowledge of the Mental Health Act, Care Act 2014, and Mental Capacity Act.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Able to work autonomously and as part of a multi-agency team.

• Hybrid working: typically 1-2 days per week from home.
• Attendance in the office required for team meetings, supervision, and collaborative work.
• Initial office presence expected to become familiar with the team, systems, and local processes.
• Flexibility required for home visits and community work when necessary.

• Pay rate: £30 per hour.
• Supportive team culture and professional supervision.
