Overview

Fabrication Supervisor (Aluminium/Manufacturing) — Portsmouth, England

£35,000 - £45,000 + Training + Progression + Overtime + Pension

Responsibilities

• Responsible for creating and ensuring the execution of daily, weekly and monthly production schedules for employees within the fabrication team.
• Oversee the Production and Fabrication process, ensuring products are made within budget and delivered on time, maintaining the highest standard.
• Hands-on role, assist with fabrication as needed.
• Develop and implement strategies to make production more cost/time effective where possible.
• Day-to-day management of the Fabrication team and general staff issues (holidays, absences, etc.).
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the Stock Manager as required.
• Perform machine checks and maintenance as needed, and keep accurate technical documentation.

The Person

• Background in the Aluminium and/or Manufacturing Industry with prior fabrication experience.
• Previous experience in a management position with strong leadership skills.
• Willing to work both as part of a team and autonomously.
• Highly organised with strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities.

The Role

• Oversight of the Production/Manufacturing process.
• Develop and implement production strategies where possible.
• Machine checks and maintenance.
