A technology recruitment service is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work remotely. - In-depth knowledge of IBM assembler programming, preferred 5+ years of experience.
- Experience with RACF installation, configuration, and programming.
- Proficiency in zOS and zVM SYSPROG skills, including installation of zOS from scratch.
- Familiarity with CLIST, REXX, JES, VSAM, VTAM, and 3270DS.
Responsibilities
- Deal with zSeries products and LDAPX escalations from support.
- Analyze causes of problems and provide solutions to customers.
- Create necessary fixes for issues as per fix creation procedures.
- Manage the HDISV environment, including re-applying system customizations on new zOS images.
- Provide support for iSereis(AS400) environment and assist with user management.
