• Manage and maintain the SUN accounting system, ensuring its alignment with organisational needs.
• Provide technical support and training to staff on SUN system functionalities.
• Analyse and troubleshoot system issues to ensure seamless operations.
• Assist in the integration of SUN with other financial tools and systems.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
• Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to enhance system efficiency.
• Undertake system upgrades and ensure data integrity throughout the process.
• Contribute to the development of best practices for system usage and reporting.

A successful Interim Systems Accountant should have:

• An accounting qualification
• Strong expertise in the SUN accounting system.
• Proven experience in systems accounting within the Not For Profit industry.
• A solid understanding of financial reporting and compliance.
• The ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive approach to system improvements and troubleshooting.

• Competitive daily rate of approximately £400 to £500, dependent on experience.
