A local government authority in the UK is seeking a skilled casual tutor to design and deliver courses in First Aid and Manual Handling. Candidates need relevant teaching experience and qualifications at level 4/5. The role offers flexible delivery methods, including online and in-person classes. Casual Position 18.5 hours p/w
The Service is seeking a casual tutor with relevant skills, knowledge and experience to design, plan, deliver accredited and non accredited courses such as First Aid (Emergency & Paediatric), Manual Handling (objects & people) whilst also having wider skills that could enhance our current offer. You will be required to support & deliver online and/or face-to-face in a range of community settings within the city.
All candidates must have the Right to Work in the UK. We are currently not offering sponsorship for this role.
This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
We are seeking to recruit a skilled and enthusiastic tutor to plan and deliver classes as stated above whilst also delivering topics to support the wider work skills area. This will be in face-to-face classes or online. You will need relevant teaching experience in an adult learning environment, school or college, up to date knowledge of the subject and teaching and subject qualifications at level 4/5.
Following recommendations from Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) for an additional pre employment check with effect 1 Sept 22, please note, an online search may form part of this recruitment process.
