A local governmental authority in Coventry is seeking a Child Care Manager to oversee children's care services. The role includes recruiting employees, ensuring children's needs are met, and adhering to relevant policies. Candidates must have substantial managerial experience in residential care, commitment to inclusion, and the ability to lead a dedicated team serving diverse children. A guaranteed interview scheme is available for eligible candidates.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
We welcome applications from established managers and deputy managers who have worked for at least 2 years in a position relevant to the residential care of children and at least one year in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff working in a care role.
