We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer with proven Central Government project experience and active SC clearance to join our team on a 12-week contract. You will be instrumental in supporting delivery teams, enhancing infrastructure, and maintaining platform reliability.

Active SC Clearance (essential)

Demonstrated experience in central government environments

Ability to mentor and guide team members through delivery work

Strong analytical skills to identify and implement infrastructure improvements

Clear understanding of complex distributed systems

Ability to conduct effective research to support design and feature implementation

Responsibilities

*

Lead the team’s daily checkpoint calls
*

Remove delivery blockers and support team members
*

Assist application engineers with platform-related issues
*

Draft and implement change requests in production
*

Deliver solutions for technical debt and platform enhancements
*

Liaise with platform and project leads to ensure strategic alignment
*

Act as deputy for the platform lead when required
