A leading healthcare provider in Bournemouth seeks an enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician to join their pharmacy team. The position involves completing mandatory rotations across hospital sites and requires excellent dispensing and communication skills. Candidates must have a Pharmacy Technician qualification and be ready for new challenges. Full training will be provided to support career development, with part-time options available.
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, well-motivated either soon-to-be, or registered Pharmacy Technician with excellent dispensing and communication skills to join our friendly pharmacy team as a Rotational Pharmacy Technician. The post holder should be ready for a new challenge and show initiative to build on their knowledge gained from their 2-year initial education and training to develop their foundation practice across an acute hospital. Minimum 30 hrs per week is required for part time. This opportunity will involve working on a rotational basis across the Bournemouth and Poole hospital sites. Full training and support will be provided to assist the candidate in building a portfolio of evidence to demonstrate competence mapped from the APTUK Foundation Pharmacy Framework. Upon successful completion of the rotational technician pathway, the post holder will progress to band 5.
To support seven-day working, staff for this role are required to work late nights, weekends and bank holidays on a rotational basis. Informal visits and enquiries are supported and encouraged. The successful candidate will have full training and support to build a portfolio of evidence mapped to the APTUK Foundation Pharmacy Framework. Upon successful completion of the rotational pathway, the post holder will progress to band 5.
