Overview

An exciting opportunity to join Team MWL as a Trainee (Apprentice) Personal Assistant in the Finance, Procurement & Information Teams based at Knowsley Community College. This is a 22-month fixed-term apprenticeship post of 37.5 hours per week, Band 3, leading to a Level 3 Business Administration qualification. The apprenticeship includes an assessment and skills development programme with a mix of workplace learning, formal training, and on-the-job practice. On successful completion, the post holder will have the knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed for their chosen role.

Responsibilities
  • Provide secretarial support to the Finance, Procurement & Information Administrative Support Team and Senior Leadership Team
  • Organise and manage diaries for the Senior Leadership Team, prioritise workload, and ensure timely communication
  • Maintain appointments and diary management, bring forward systems, arrange venues, travel and accommodation
  • Plan and organise meetings and training events, book venues, arrange hospitality, and circulate attendance records
  • Take notes or minutes, type and distribute documents within required timeframes, and ensure agendas are prepared and circulated
