Job summary
A leading CNC machine tool supplier in the UK is seeking an Applications Engineer to provide technical support and product training. The successful candidate will meet clients across the UK & Ireland and deliver hands-on training and demonstrations using CAD/CAM software. Candidates should have a technical qualification in mechanical engineering and experience with CNC programming. The role offers a competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000, company car, and comprehensive benefits.

- Full UK driving licence.

- Give presentations and demonstrations at exhibitions and customer sites.
- Support the sales team with presales and aftersales.

The successful candidate will meet clients across the UK & Ireland to provide technical support and product training on CNC machine tools, milling machines and machining centres.
- Meet clients across the UK & Ireland to provide technical support and product training on CNC machine tools, milling machines and machining centres using CAD/CAM software including NX, Hypermill and iCAM.
- Give presentations and demonstrations at exhibitions, tradeshows and customer sites.
- Support the sales team with presales and aftersales.
- Provide CNC programming training to machinists and operators at customer sites.
- Report to the Technical Director.
- A technical qualification or apprenticeship in mechanical engineering, manufacturing or precision machining.
- Experienced using CAD/CAM software; Siemens NX, Hypermill or iCAM would be advantageous; other CAD/CAM experience is welcome.
- Knowledge of Fanuc interface is advantageous.
- Prior experience as an Applications Engineer, CNC Programmer, CNC Machinist, CNC Miller or other relevant experience in precision engineering.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ideally based in the Midlands within a commutable distance from Warwick, Warwickshire.
