An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a family owned franchised dealership located in York.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

• A basic salary of up to £38,000 depending on experience, with packages available to suit varying skill levels
• Monday - Friday 8:30-5:30, 1 in 4 Saturday mornings
• Excellent training opportunities - train on electric vehicles from day one
• Family owned dealership with a friendly working atmosphere with good staff retention
• Work in a modern, heated workshop alongside a stable and experienced management team
• A stable role: the client has been in business for decades and they are as busy as ever

• Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
• MOT Testing
• Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults
• Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards

• A Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence
• Dedicated and committed approach
• Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work
• Your own Vehicle Technician tools

The salary of this role is up to £38,000 basic with OTE of £41,250.

Hours of work for this Vehicle Technician role are: Monday - Friday 8:30-5:30, 1 in 4 Saturday mornings
