Spider is advertising on behalf of a high-quality maintenance and repair services for heavy goods vehicles and plant machinery who are looking for a Trailer Technician/ Fitter to join their team either full time or part time in Shipdham Airfield, near Dereham, Norfolk.

This is a small, close-knit and friendly team dedicated to providing high-quality maintenance and repair services for heavy goods vehicles and plant machinery. You'll be part of an inspiring journey to help in their growth. Your contributions will be valued.

• Competitive Salary: £41,000 - £43,000 depending on experience
• Holiday: 20 days of annual leave plus Bank Holidays, increasing to 25 days after three years of service.
• Flexible working hours: Typically operate Monday to Friday, open to part-time arrangements.

As a Trailer Technician/ Fitter in our busy workshop, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the performance and reliability of heavy goods vehicles and plant machinery. You'll engage in a variety of hands‑on tasks, including inspections, repairs, and servicing.

• Carrying out trailer inspections and attending breakdowns.
• Preparing vehicles for MOT.
• Diagnosing faults and undertaking repairs on vehicles and plant machinery.
• Providing vehicle servicing and general maintenance.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.

You are a motivated Trailer Technician/ Fitter with a passion for working as part of a small but efficient team. Your hands‑on approach and attention to detail ensure high‑quality workmanship in every task. With an NVQ Level 3 or proven experience under your belt, you are a problem‑solver who thrives in a dynamic environment and appreciates the value of teamwork and communication in achieving common goals.
