As the Client Bookkeeper, you will work with a wide range of clients, gaining exposure to various industries.

In addition to providing first-class bookkeeping services to your own client base, you will also offer system training and occasionally act as an interim Finance Manager, making this one of the most interesting and progressive bookkeeping roles available on the market!

1. Provide ongoing support for clients' bookkeeping and tax needs
2. Conduct bookkeeping and data processing for the firm’s clients
3. Maintain accounting records using Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
4. Prepare VAT returns
5. Communicate with clients via telephone and email to request information
6. Visit client premises to liaise directly on bookkeeping matters
7. Prepare management accounts
8. Meet deadlines and respond to client queries promptly
9. Continue developing bookkeeping skills under supervision
10. Assist with system rollouts and training as required

• Previous bookkeeping experience is essential, ideally from a reputable firm
• Confident IT user with experience in Xero, Sage, and Microsoft Excel
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Respond well to supervision from senior staff
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to adapt your approach to different clients
