Job summary

A well-established social housing organisation is looking for an experienced Repairs Manager to oversee responsive repairs services in South London. The ideal candidate will manage a Direct Labour Organisation and ensure service delivery meets organisational standards, compliance, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include operational leadership, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement in service quality. This interim position offers £58.46 per hour.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in a Repairs Manager or similar role within social housing.
• Proven track record managing in-house Direct Labour Organisations (DLOs).
• Strong understanding of compliance and repairs delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for the responsive repairs service.
• Manage and performance-monitor DLO operatives and supervisory staff.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, statutory, and regulatory obligations.
• Drive continuous improvement in service quality and customer satisfaction.
