Our client is a respected organisation in the not-for-profit industry who are a medium-sized organisation dedicated to delivering value and efficiency through their procurement process.

Job Description
  • Manage procurement strategies for the IT category to deliver cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant procurement legislation and internal policies.
  • Analyse market trends to identify opportunities for better value and supplier performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand IT requirements and align procurement strategies.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve favourable terms and conditions.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues effectively.
  • Provide expert advice on IT procurement to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present reports on procurement activities and outcomes.
The Successful Applicant

A successful Interim Category Manager - IT/Digital should have:

  • Proven experience in IT procurement within the Public and Not for Profit Sectors
  • Strong knowledge of procurement legislation and compliance requirements - Including experience with PCR 2015 and PA23
  • Exceptional negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and market trends to inform procurement decisions.
  • Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders to meet organisational needs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.

  • Daily rate of GBP 450- GBP 515 (inside IR35).
