An award winning international law firm is looking for an Events Executive to join their events team in London. The successful candidate will oversee the execution of both virtual and in-person events, offering strategic advice and assistance to team members and stakeholders. Success in this role requires strong project management skills, a proactive mindset, and an ability to work well within a collaborative team setting.

The Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute a range of events, both client-facing and internal, as part of the firm’s business development strategy. This includes managing events from inception, planning, and setting objectives through to delivery and post-event evaluation.
• Collaborate closely with fee earners to ensure they are well-informed and engaged throughout the entire event process.
• Adhere to company policies and industry best practices to ensure consistent program quality, effective cost management, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct venue research and develop tailored event proposals based on specific business needs, including considerations for budget, location, and guest numbers.
• Manage, update, and reconcile event budgets, ensuring financial oversight at all stages.
• Coordinate with venues and other event vendors to secure services and manage logistics.
• Produce event materials and collaborate with the in-house design team for creative input when necessary.

The Candidate:

• Have at least two years of experience in event management, ideally within a professional services environment.
• Possess outstanding project management skills and a proven track record of successfully executing high-quality events.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; familiarity with Vuture and InterAction/CRM systems is a plus.
