Principal / Senior Civil Engineer (Chartered or Incorporated)

Salary:

£50,000 – £60,000 (dependent on experience)

Location:

Leeds (with access to Tadcaster office if required)

Type:

Permanent, full-time (part-time considered), hybrid working

About the Role:

Our client is seeking an experienced Incorporated or Chartered Engineer to lead the delivery of environmental improvement, flood risk, pumping station and wider civil infrastructure projects. The role involves full project lifecycle management, technical leadership, team coordination and supporting innovation across multidisciplinary projects.

You will work with engineers, ecologists and geomorphologists on schemes that promote nature-based solutions and climate resilience, including natural flood management. The position offers genuine scope for progression into team leadership or managerial roles.

  • End-to-end project management including contracts, budgets, specifications, programmes, risks and change management.

  • Building strong relationships with clients, colleagues and key stakeholders.
