Job summary
A growing fashion retailer in the UK is seeking a proactive Employee Relations & HR Advisor to support both warehouse and head office teams. This role blends hands-on HR administration with frontline employee support to ensure smooth HR operations. The ideal candidate will have proven HR experience, especially in employee relations. - Manage HR administration, including new starters and leavers.
- Support Employee Relations for warehouse and store staff.
- Handle first-line conversations with employees.
- Maintain and manage the HR inbox, responding to queries.
- Support the management team in meetings and HR-related decisions.
- Work closely with warehouse and store teams to resolve issues.
Skills

This role combines hands‑on HR administration with first‑line employee support, helping to ensure smooth HR operations and strong relationships across the business.
- Manage HR administration, including new starters, leavers, and HR documentation.
- Support Employee Relations (ER) for warehouse and store staff, including entry‑level queries.
- Handle first‑line conversations with employees and escalating or managing formal conversations as needed.
- Maintain and manage the HR inbox, responding to queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Support the management team in meetings, coaching, and HR‑related decision‑making.
- Work closely with warehouse and store teams to resolve employee issues and ensure compliance with HR policies.
The successful candidate will have proven HR experience, ideally in employee relations and HR administration. Strong communication skillsare a must and you will be confident in coaching and advising managers on HR matters.
This role will be part based 2 to 3 days in the warehouse in Bedfordshire and the rest of the week in their Central London Head Office.
