Job Description
In this busy and varied Finance Business Partner role based in Pickering, roles and responsibilities will include:
- Supporting Budget Holders and working closely with teams across the organisation to develop budgets, monitor financial performance, and analyse variances.
- Management Reporting, assisting with the month-end process, prepare management accounts, and deliver financial insights that support decision-making.
- Ensuring compliance and all financial activity aligns with tax, payroll, HR, and regulatory requirements.
- Stakeholder engagement with encouragement to build strong relationships to improve financial understanding and provide clear, meaningful advice.
- Continuously identifying and implementing ways to enhance financial processes and best practices.
The Successful Applicant
For this Finance Business Partner role, we're looking for:
- Degree-qualified in a relevant subject or actively studying towards ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
- Experience/exposure in financial planning, budgeting, and management reporting.
- Strong knowledge of finance systems and internal controls.
- Excellent communication skills - able to translate financial data for non-finance stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
