Job summary
A leading property recruitment firm is looking for a Senior Surveyor specializing in affordable housing valuation in London. The role involves conducting valuations, preparing reports, and building client relationships. Ideal candidates will be Chartered Surveyors with a strong interest in affordable housing and at least 3 years of experience. The position offers a salary up to £55,000 plus a car allowance.

Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum + car allowance £5k
Beach Baker are delighted to be working with a true market-leading company. This role allows you to engage with clients, internal teams, and contribute to the development of affordable housing and regeneration solutions.
- Conduct valuations for affordable housing providers, local authorities, and private clients to support land acquisition, new home developments, and disposals.
- Prepare detailed valuation reports and recommendations in compliance with RICS guidelines.
- Build strong client relationships to understand their challenges and provide tailored solutions.
- Deliver robust viability advice to aid key decision-making processes, supporting projects such as new housing developments and urban regeneration.
- Advising a government department on the viability of a significant housing development in London.
- Conducting a red book valuation for land acquisition to build affordable homes.
- Updating valuation reports to support shared ownership home sales.
- Producing market reviews for town centre regeneration projects.
- The role is based in a central London office with excellent transport links.
- Chartered Surveyor and Registered Valuer
- 3+ years PQE
- Experience in affordable housing valuation or a strong interest in developing these skills.
- Familiarity with Argus Developer and financial appraisals.
- Enthusiasm for diverse projects and a desire to grow within the valuation team and broader business.
- A proactive approach to expanding the housing, viability, and regeneration offering.
