Overview

Land Manager / New Business Manager role for a contractor specialising in the construction of affordable apartments for Registered Providers (RPs) and Housing Associations (HAs). The role is based in SE London, salary £65,000 - £75,000 DOE, with the region noted as London.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and acquire suitable land sites in and around Greater London to support affordable housing development.
  • Present sites to Housing Associations and Local Authorities as land-led opportunities to secure build-out contracts.
  • Understand and package deals that appeal to Housing Associations and Residential providers, particularly within the affordable/HA sector.
  • Collaborate with HA backgrounds, consultancies, developers, or contractors to drive new business and land opportunities in the social/affordable housing market.
  • Apply knowledge from private sector land delivery to inform risk, feasibility, and delivery considerations for land acquisitions.
Qualifications
  • Experience in the social/affordable housing market, with a clear understanding of how to identify, package, and present land-led opportunities to HAs and RPs.
  • Background in housing associations, consultancy, development, or contracting, with a proven ability to secure new business and land opportunities.
