Reports to: Digital Workplace Technologies Manager
Location: Knockmore Hill, Lisburn
Purpose:
Management of operational IT activities in IOI as the Local IT Operations Leader. Responsible for managing and maintaining daily business operations with a team of external employees, ensuring proper KBI achievement. Collaborates with Central Teams, partners with local stakeholders, and aims to achieve high Net Promoter Score and User Satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee operational IT activities across 3 countries and 2 Business Units.
- Conduct tender procedures, provide technical support, and manage supply contracts.
- Maintain continuous contact with internal business functions and external IT suppliers.
- Participate in the development, documentation, and support of IT processes.
- Ensure knowledge of and compliance with GDPR, audit, and IT standards.
- Provide technical expertise.
- Manage the national telecommunications network, servers, and server room, outside of central BSS supervision.
- Handle budget responsibilities within the countries (CAPEX, OPEX).
- Provide second-level support through local OnSite teams.
- Prepare and maintain system documentation.
- Manage the local OnSite IT Support team and collaborate with the central BSS organization to enhance service levels.
- Detect and remediate information security vulnerabilities.
- Work with central Agile Teams to implement new solutions.
- Support business operations.
- Liaise with IT service providers and manage SLAs.
- Serve as the contact person for DTPS Functional Leaders and Function Heads.
- Support innovation through prototypes, concepts, and tests at the local level.
- Prepare and implement the annual infrastructure budget (CAPEX, OPEX) accurately.
- Qualifications: Higher education in Information Technology, Economics, or Technical Studies.
- Experience: 3-5 years in People Management, System Support, or Service Desk roles.
- Skills: High computer literacy, LAN/WAN, Telecommunications, Windows, and a valid driving license (Type B).
