An innovative education organization in Guildford is seeking a reliable Amanuensis (Note Taker) for a part-time position supporting Higher Education Counselling students. Responsibilities include creating accurate notes from sessions and supporting student learning through clear documentation. We are recruiting a discreet and reliable Amanuensis (Note Taker) to support our Higher Education Counselling students at Activate Learning. You will play an important role in enabling adult learners to engage fully with their studies by producing accurate, accessible notes from taught sessions.
You will attend scheduled counselling programme sessions and create clear, impartial written notes that capture key learning points, discussions, and activities. These notes will be shared securely with the student group to support learning, reflection, and preparation for practice.
This is a part‑time role (7 agreed timetabled hours per week) Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:00‑12:30, term time only, based at Guildford college.
