We're looking for an ambitious logistics professional to join us as a care logistics lead. In this role, we'll look to you to supervise and coordinate a team of ceremonial crew to ensure that each funeral is delivered to the highest possible standard. Using both manual and digital systems and processes, you'll ensure that every person is in the right place at the right time.

• Manage and coordinate the schedule of ceremonial crew – a team of primarily part-time colleagues who drive, carry the coffin and support on the day of funerals.
• Deputise for the care logistics manager.
• Plan clothing collection, movement of personal belongings and transportation of the deceased for viewings, as required.
• Gather and analyse insight to drive continuous improvements in the delivery of funerals and team performance.
• Maintain a good understanding of the local environment and stakeholders (clergy, crematoria, hospitals, care providers) and adapt or improve processes accordingly.
