A leading healthcare organization in Berwick-upon-Tweed is looking for an enthusiastic registered nurse. You will work in a 10-bedded Care of the Elderly Ward. Responsibilities include assessing and implementing care, and leading a compassionate team. This is a rotational position covering all shifts and requires excellent communication and teamwork skills. An exciting opportunity has arisen on Ward 1 at Berwick. We require an enthusiastic, highly motivated registered nurse to join our team.
We are in the process of building a new hospital within the town; Ward 1 is presently a 10 bedded innovative and forward-thinking Care of the Elderly Ward specialising in rehabilitation. There is a strong focus on multi-disciplinary team working to ensure safe and effective care is delivered to our patients.
The successful candidate will be expected to work as part of a dynamic nursing team delivering all aspects of care to patients. Previous experience in a similar setting is desirable, but not essential. The post will be fully rotational day/night duty and cover seven days a week including bank holidays. A wide range of clinical experience will be gained on this ward, with scope for staff development. You should be committed to working effectively as part of a multi-professional team and have excellent communication skills.
