You will be joining a friendly and supportive clinical team of GPs, practice nurses and health care assistant.

To prepare consulting rooms, monitor, order and maintain clinical stock levels and manage stock rotation as agreed with the practice nurses.

Health screening of patients with pre diabetes, undertaking health checks, blood glucose monitoring, venepuncture and diabetic foot checks

ECG

Monitor fridge temperatures in accordance with practice policy

Assist GPs in providing minor surgery

Removal of stitches

The medical centre is a modern purpose built building.

We are a forward thinking training practice, supportive of continued development and focused on providing high quality patient care to 11,000 plus patients.

This is a permanent role, offering 14-16 hours per week, to include a competitive salary, dependent on experience, NHS pension and on site parking.

• Qualified to NVQ level 2 in Health and Social care
• Qualified in phlebotomy
• Qualified to level 3

• Experience of working within a nursing team
• Experience of working within general practice
• Experience of working within primary care
• Experience of working alone
