Health Care Assistant - Dinas Powys Medical Centre

You will be joining a friendly and supportive clinical team of GPs, practice nurses and health care assistant.

Main duties of the job

To prepare consulting rooms, monitor, order and maintain clinical stock levels and manage stock rotation as agreed with the practice nurses.

Health screening of patients with pre diabetes, undertaking health checks, blood glucose monitoring, venepuncture and diabetic foot checks

ECG

Monitor fridge temperatures in accordance with practice policy

Assist GPs in providing minor surgery

Removal of stitches

This is a permanent role, offering 14-16 hours per week, to include a competitive salary, dependent on experience, NHS pension and on site parking.
