Your Role as a Care Assistant:

Being a Care Assistant means being a companion, a helping hand, and a source of comfort. You’ll play a vital role in supporting older people to live with dignity and independence.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providingcompanionshipand emotional support
• Assisting withpersonal careand hygiene
• Supporting mobility around the home
• Helping withhouseworksuch as cleaning and tidying
• Preparing and cookingmeals
• Administering or supportingmedication management
