A health service organization in the City of London is looking for qualified EMHPs for Trainee Senior Wellbeing Practitioner roles starting in January 2026. Candidates will manage mental health cases for children and young people and must enroll in a related university course. Applicants must possess relevant experience and provide flexible interventions in educational settings. The closing date for applications is November 3, 2025.
This is an exciting opportunity for two qualified EMHPs, with two years of post-qualification experience, to join Lambeth MHST as a Band 6 Trainee Senior Wellbeing Practitioner in January 2026. You are required to enrol in the KCL CYP MH Low Intensity Advanced Practice PGDip Course (for Senior Wellbeing Practitioners), which starts on 19 January 2026.
EMHP candidates must be fully registered or awaiting accreditation with the relevant professional body (e.g., BABCP or BPS) and have at least 2 years of post-qualification experience as of January 2026.
Applicants must apply simultaneously with KCL for this training course and be accepted. We have 2 trainee Senior Wellbeing Practitioner roles available. The university portals are open until November 24, 2025. If a candidate has not applied to the university before the portal closing date, they will be ineligible for the course.
The Lambeth MHST is an early intervention service supporting mild to moderate mental health needs in 40 primary and secondary schools in Lambeth, with plans to expand in January 2026. The team is multidisciplinary, including Systemic Family Therapists, Systemic Family Practitioners, Social Work, Education Psychologists, Arts Psychotherapists, Occupational Therapy, CBT Therapists, Senior Wellbeing Practitioner, Education Mental Health Practitioners, Quality Assurance and Communications Lead, and Senior Administrative Support. Our main office is at St John\'s Angell Town Primary School, and we work across several MHST schools in Lambeth with flexibility and home working available.
