Overview

Lead Practitioner of English (Secondary) - Leadership Scale (Surrey Fringe): LP5 - LP10 (£58,860 - £66,444). Full time (60% classroom teaching commitment) | 4 days a week considered. Based across two secondary schools in Surrey.


About the Role


  • Lead on the development of high-quality teaching and learning in English across KS3 and KS4.

  • Drive curriculum innovation and refinement across the subject area.

  • Support, coach and mentor colleagues to improve classroom practice.

  • Play a key role in whole-school and cross-Trust teaching and learning initiatives.

  • Contribute to strategic planning and professional development programmes.

  • 60% teaching timetable (maximum 0.6 FTE) - with scope to work across both secondary schools.

  • Leadership scale salary with Trust-wide impact and influence.
