Job summary
A leading Data Center management firm in the United Kingdom is seeking a Manager Data Center responsible for the oversight of data center operations. This role requires proven experience in mission-critical environments, strong leadership abilities, and a commitment to operational excellence. The ideal candidate will oversee team management, ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards, and maintain critical site documentation. The position demands strong communication skills and a proactive approach to incident management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in mission-critical mechanical & electrical environments, preferably IT/Telecom.
- Strong team leadership with direct and indirect report management.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is essential.
- Experience leading large teams through change is required.
Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to Health & Safety compliance and management.
- Operate the site efficiently and manage performance systems.
- Manage team members, providing training and development opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a Multi-Year Site Plan and site documentation.
