As Assistant Director of Food & Beverage at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, we expect from you:
  • Oversee the daily operations of all Food & Beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional service and consistent brand standards
  • Support the Deputy Director of F&B in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and driving financial performance
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the F&B management team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards across all outlets
  • Collaborate with culinary, events, and operational teams to enhance guest experience and drive innovative F&B initiatives

As our next Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 39 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary from morning, evening, and night shifts (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.

To be a successful Assistant Director of Food & Beverage candidate, you will have:
  • Proven leadership experience overseeing multiple F&B outlets within a luxury hotel environment
  • Strong background in team development, coaching, and performance management
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue, manage budgets, and optimise cost efficiencies
  • Solid understanding of health & safety, food hygiene regulations, and operational compliance
  • Experience maintaining exceptional service standards and elevating guest satisfaction in a fast‑paced environment
