As a stock condition surveyor, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our homes remain safe, compliant, and fit for the future. You'll carry out stock condition, energy and HHSRS surveys to help us capture robust data, inform long‑term investment decisions, and support our mission to provide homes that our customers are proud to live in.

This is a role with real impact. You'll be at the forefront of keeping our homes in great condition, ensuring compliance, and enabling us to invest wisely in the places where people live and thrive.

Join Bromford, part of Bromford Flagship, and become part of a leading housing provider delivering community‑focused services across the Midlands and South West – all backed by the scale and ambition of the Bromford Flagship group.

What we're looking for

Someone with a strong background in property maintenance, housing, or construction who can combine technical expertise with a customer‑first mindset. You'll need to be comfortable working independently, using your initiative, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

Ideally, you'll bring
  • Significant experience in property maintenance (housing) or construction.
  • Knowledge of stock condition surveys, HHSRS surveys and property‑related data management.
  • A relevant qualification (BTEC or equivalent in property/construction) – HHSRS accreditation is desirable.
  • Confidence with technology, including mobile devices and data systems.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Additional requirements
  • A full UK driving licence and the ability to travel across our housing stock.
  • Able to complete a basic DBS check.
Benefits Package
  • Salary: £35,500 – £37,068 per year, with an annual salary review
  • This role involves regular travel across our homes and communities, and to support you, we’ll provide either a company car or a cash allowance alternative.
  • Performance Bonus: Based on individual and company‑wide targets
  • Flexible Working: We’re happy to explore options if this is important to you
  • Personal benefits fund: £500 annual allowance for benefits such as private medical insurance, dental treatment, critical illness cover, or gym membership
  • Annual leave: 27 days per year, plus bank holidays, with an option to buy or sell up to 5 days
  • Pension options: Choose from two pension schemes, with employer contributions of up to 10%
  • Life Assurance
  • Wellbeing Support – not just for you, but also for your partner, children, parents, and siblings. Plus, access to a free app with virtual GP services and mental health resources.
  • Retail discounts: Save money on groceries, clothing, electronics, and more
  • Drinks card providing up to £30 per month for hot or cold drinks while working (pro rata for part‑time colleagues)
  • Family Leave – supporting colleagues with parental and dependant responsibilities, including maternity, paternity, adoption, parental, dependent care, and cars' leave.

Closing date: 19 January with interviews taking place in Tewkesbury 26 and 27 January.

We recommend applying early, as we may close this vacancy sooner if we receive a high number of applications.
