Job overview

A SRDC potato shunter is a vital role to the manufacturing process. The role is vital to ensure a smooth flow of trailer on and off the intake bays to manufacturing. Using the SRDC shunt units, the role will require traveling a short distance to other PepsiCo sites to collect and drop off trailers.

Position summary:

Salary: £36,700.39

Working Hours: Working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. Alternating days and nights. 12 hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure KPIs are delivered.
• Ensure that all standards - safety, hygiene, service and productivity KPIs - are being maintained.
• Support the safety programme through the Near Miss programme.
• Ensuring punctual trailer flow on and off the potato intake bays.
• Able to identify service risks and act accordingly.

Qualifications

• HGV1 licence (due to H&S/legal requirements for driving on the external road)
