• Provide strategic direction and operational management for the Market Operations team
• Oversee customer onboarding, metering, settlement, and reconciliation processes for both gas and electricity
• Drive continuous improvement in departmental processes and systems
• Manage relationships with industry bodies and third-party service providers
• Ensure compliance with industry codes and performance standards
• Lead the implementation of SMART / AMR meter rollouts and DCC compliance
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators for operational excellence
• Support proposition development and tender responses from a Market Operations perspective
• Optimize costs while maintaining high-quality service delivery

• Be an experienced professional with a strong background in energy industry processes
• A strategic thinker with excellent people leadership and development skills
• Possess a deep understanding of gas and electricity market operations
• Be a problem-solver with a track record of process improvement and innovation
• Have advanced Microsoft Office skills and budget management experience
• A communicator capable of negotiating successful outcomes internally and externally
• Ideally, you will hold a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
• You have experience in senior-level stakeholder management
