Senior Architectural Technician
Location: Warwickshire
Salary: £40-45,000 DOE
A well-established architectural practice based in Warwickshire is seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technician to join their growing team. The studio is renowned for delivering projects across a diverse range of sectors, including heritage, education, hospitality, leisure, and community buildings. Their portfolio combines sensitive conservation work with contemporary design, always maintaining a commitment to quality, context, and innovation.
- Leading on the preparation of detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction packages
- Coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure design, programme, and quality objectives are achieved
- Managing technical aspects of projects across multiple sectors
- Ensuring all work meets building regulations, standards, and best practice guidance
- Providing technical support and mentorship to junior team members
- Contributing to the development of BIM and Revit standards within the practice
- Extensive experience working as a Senior or experienced Architectural Technician within UK practice
- Strong technical and detailing skills, with a thorough understanding of construction and materials
- Proficiency in Revit and other relevant design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.)
- Experience working on heritage or conservation projects is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities, with confidence liaising across disciplines
- A collaborative mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
