As a supporting staff member for SEND & Hospitality education, you will play a vital role in providing assistance and guidance to both staff and learners. Your responsibilities will include assisting lecturers with lesson preparation, maintaining standards, managing finances and orders in the Training Kitchen, and supporting learners with SEND. Your contribution will be instrumental in ensuring a smooth learning journey for educators and learners, helping learners acquire the necessary skills for further study, employment, or Supported Internships. You will also implement health and safety measures, ensure compliance, and adhere to college policies.
Key aspects of the role include providing excellent assistance and guidance to support the learning experience for both educators and learners.
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will have skills in Hospitality & Catering, finance and budget monitoring, and evidence of industrial experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, enabling you to motivate and inspire others. Excellent organizational skills and IT knowledge will further enhance your ability to support the team.
