Food Technology Teacher – Temp to Perm – January 2026 Start

They are looking for someone who:

• Is a qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent) and experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4.
• Has a strong understanding of the national curriculum and the ability to plan and deliver engaging, practical lessons.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
• Is passionate about food education and committed to promoting healthy lifestyles and sustainability.
• Is reflective, resilient, and eager to contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons that challenge and inspire students of all abilities.
• Plan and assess student progress in line with departmental and national expectations.
• Maintain a safe and well-organised learning environment, including the effective use of specialist equipment and resources.
• Contribute to curriculum development and the continuous improvement of teaching and learning within the department.
• Support students in developing practical skills, creativity, and confidence in the kitchen.
