A progressive educational institution in London seeks a DT Specialist as Head of Creative Faculty. You will lead creative subjects’ teachers, develop a challenging curriculum, and help achieve targets at the academy. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in curriculum design, team leadership, and the ability to motivate students. We are looking to appoint a DT Specialist for the role of Head of Creative Faculty to start on 13 April 2026. The successful applicant will lead and manage the professional community of creative subjects’ teachers (Product Design, Textiles, Art and Food Tech). You will ensure the academy achieves its targets through appropriate schemes of work, effective assessment tracking and intervention. You will lead on our well‑established creative subjects curriculum and assist in the design of an engaging and challenging curriculum. You will be expected to teach GCSE and A-level DT.
