We are looking for an experienced and ambitious PSV Electrician to join Arriva, based at our St Helens Depot.

As a PSV Electrician, your role will involve carrying out planned and preventative maintenance, diagnostic fault finding, and reactive repairs on a fleet of commercially operated buses, adhering to the standards set by Arriva and the DVSA (Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency).

The role will involve:

• Servicing, maintenance, and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards
• Improving vehicle reliability
• MOT preparation, planned preventative maintenance, and quality checks
• Auto (PSV) electrics and fault diagnosis, ensuring reliability and maintenance standards are met

Requirements:

• Qualifications in HGV/PSV maintenance and repair – NVQ level 2 or equivalent (confirmation needed)
• Experience in HGV/PSV repair and maintenance may be considered if not qualified
• A full UK driving licence (6 points or fewer)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical

A shift electrician position is available at our St Helens depot, Monday to Friday, with additional overtime at an enhanced rate. Duties include servicing our PSV fleet, diagnostic work, breakdowns, and MOT preparation.
