Responsibilities

Your knack for organising and scheduling resources will be key to your success in this challenging management role. Ensuring efficient customer deliveries and fleet compliance for multiple sites, you'll be responsible for budgets, attracting and retaining great people, motivating your teams, health & safety and VOR rates. Delivering to tight timelines, you'll build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, onboard new customers while looking after existing ones and make sure there are enough vehicles to deliver our products. Focused on ways to continually improve, you'll drive team performance by setting expectations, managing change, and consistently providing feedback and coaching.

What you bring to the mix

With strong commercial awareness and the ability to motivate everyone to achieve targets, you have everything it takes to succeed with Sysco:

  • CPC License essential
  • analytical thinking and the ability to create data-driven change plans
  • experience coaching a team, and driving performance across multiple sites
  • extensive experience balancing operational needs, customer and commercial expectations
  • an understanding of fleet compliance regulations for HGV vehicles and Class 1 and 2 drivers.
  • the ability to manage change within a team and influence others
  • multiple stakeholder management skills that drive a culture of two-way feedback
  • a focus on continuous improvement and using data insights, trends, and team input to improve processes
  • experience using Microsoft Office, knowledge of SAP and route planning systems.
