A financial services company in Hampshire is seeking a Financial Accountant to prepare accounts under HGB and manage audits for a German business. The role requires fluency in German, relevant accountancy qualifications, and hands-on experience. This contract role involves collaboration with the Head of Accounting and monthly travel to Germany. The current working model is three days in the office and two days from home.

Orka Financial is currently recruiting a Financial Accountant for a business based in Andover. This role needs someone who is fluent in German and who has prepared accounts under HGB (German GAAP). Covering a long term sick leaver, you will be needed for between three and six months.
In order to be considered for this role, you will need to have hands on experience of running the audit for a German business. You will need to be technically strong and comfortable with monthly travel to Germany for 3-4 days at a time. Working closely with the Head of Accounting, you will be the key contact for the auditors.
Our client's preference is to hire someone with a recognised accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA or CIMA), however, if you have the right experience then you will be considered also.
The current working model is three days in the office (Parking on site) and two from home.
