Our client, a leading consulting firm specialising in outsourced financial services, is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their dynamic team. This is a client-facing role where you will manage a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries, delivering high-quality financial reporting and advisory services under UK GAAP and IFRS. • Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients, acting as their primary point of contact for financial matters.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate statutory accounts under UK GAAP and IFRS, including detailed consolidation workings for complex structures.
• Audit Support: Collaborate with clients during year-end audits, addressing technical queries and ensuring smooth processes.
• Technical Expertise: Research and resolve client-specific accounting issues while continuously enhancing your knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Team Leadership: Mentor junior staff members, providing guidance on assignments and supporting their professional development.
• Communication & Collaboration: Deliver clear and concise advice to clients while maintaining transparency and resolving queries promptly.

• ACCA or ACA qualification with proven experience in statutory accounts preparation and management accounts.
• Minimum of 2 years' post-audit exposure within practice or outsourcing environments.
• Strong expertise in UK GAAP; practical experience in IFRS is highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients at all levels.
• Advanced IT skills, particularly in Excel; familiarity with accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero is essential.
• Analytical mindset with commercial awareness and meticulous attention to detail.
• Professionalism, reliability, and adaptability when working under pressure in a client-focused setting.
