Group Financial Consolidation Specialist (Hybrid)
Job summary
A recruitment agency in the UK is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to manage and consolidate financial reporting for a group of companies. This role requires ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, producing annual statutory and monthly management accounts, and supporting strategic decision-making through accurate financial analysis. Responsibilities
- Assist the Group Financial Controller in the consolidation of the annual statutory accounts.
- Ensure appropriate accounting policies are being applied according to UK GAAP standards.
- Monitor changes in accounting standards and implement necessary updates.
- Assist with the external audits and answer audit queries.
- Produce annual statutory accounts for non-audit trading companies.
- Produce monthly management accounts for holding companies.
- Ensure Group Intercompany schedules are current and discrepancies resolved.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks including system development.
