- Plan and oversee the year-end timetable for financial accounts, collaborating with auditors and stakeholders.
- Prepare statutory accounts in line with IFRS, FreM, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Support interim and year-end audits by producing working papers and resolving queries.
- Review and improve outsourced financial reporting, ensuring compliance and reliability.
- Analyse monthly accounts, produce management reports, and provide practical insights.
- Monitor funding flows, manage daily cash forecasts, and reconcile financial data.
- Act as the primary liaison between finance and outsourced providers to maintain control.
- Handle treasury responsibilities, including bank accounts, authorisations, and cash management.
- Foster strong working relationships across teams and providers to solve issues and streamline processes.
- Fully qualified Accountant with extensive technical financial accounting experience.
- Proven track record in financial accounting, reconciliations, and year-end processes; public sector accounting or financial instruments experience is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the confidence to challenge and influence.
- Professional, confident, and collaborative, able to build effective relationships internally and externally.
